Ministry Opportunities

What does a follower of
Jesus
look like?

It’s simple really. We look like Jesus.

We  Love, Belong, Grow, Serve, and Reach.

Every Ministry at Narrow Way Bible Church is centered around these 5 fundamental values.  It is our belief and desire that the church “live” and “breath” Jesus
7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

We invite you to check out and be a part of the ministry opportunities that we have here.  This list is by no means “conclusive,” and there is always room to grow and expand as we REACH our community for Jesus!

Love

Loving God and loving others. This is the foundation for the other four. Often this is confused with worldly Love.  We must learn what is truly is to LOVE if we are to be like Jesus.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself."

— Matthew 22:36-39

If you love ME, you will keep my commandments.

— John 14:15

Belong

Forging friendships with God’s family in your local church.  We were not created to be alone, but rather to be family.  Who is in the “family?” Those that DO the will of the Father!

"For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother.”

— Matthew 12:50

Grow

Experiencing life-change as we apply God’s truth to our lives.  Growth is not measured in numbers or buildings.  Growth fundamentally starts at the individual as we ROOT ourselves in HIM.

"For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God."

— Ephesian 3:14-19

Serve

Using our spiritual gifts to accomplish the works that HE prepared for us.  Often times we think of the Church or the Community.  Service is so much more and is centered on KNOWING HIS will for you.

"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms."

— 1 Peter 4:10

Reach

Investing our lives in others near and far that many would come to know Jesus.  This is not optional but rather the COMMAND of our LORD Jesus Christ.  “GO” and make disciples!

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

— Matthew 28:19-20
